Energising Local Communities
Promoting the Neighbourhood Approach to Energy Saving
Tuesday 10th March
The Energising Local Communities seminar, held on Tuesday 10th of March, brought together community schemes from across the country to explore what is already taking place to lower carbon emissions and lift families out of fuel poverty.
The seminar was held by UKBCSE in conjunction with the Local Government Association and Warm Zones.
The speakers provided a detailed insight into what delivery partnerships between Local Authorities, Energy Companies and other community organisations are currently achieving, and allowed a forum for open discussion about the way forward.
