UKBCSE Reception 2010

Leading figures from across across the energy industry as well as government officials and parliamentarians were welcomed by David Green, Chief Executive, at our annual reception, held this year at The Atrium, Milbank.

In his address, Steve Holliday, Chairman of the Business Council and Chief Executive of National Grid, outlined the scale of the challenge in making the transition needed to a low carbon future. He said:

"Whatever the outcome of this year's General Election my fellow CEOs and I have the will to deliver the big changes that are needed and look forward to taking this absolutely vital agenda forward with the next Government."
