International Policy

The UKBCSE works through the International Council for Sustainable Energy (ICSE) which involves the European, United Kingdom and United States Business Councils for Sustainable Energy and the Australian Clean Energy Council, to influence international negotiations on sustainable energy and climate change issues.

The ICSE engages in international climate negotiations convened under the auspices of the United Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC), and is currently working on the post-2012 debate. The ICSE made contributions at the recent meetings in Copenhagen and Poznan (see Climate Negotiations for more details).
